Here’s prolific hobby duo of Alan and Michael Perry finishing up a special project in New Zealand.

Sir Peter Jackson funded this amazing war diorama, championed by the Perry Twins (above), of the Battle of Chunuk Bair for The Great War Exhibition in Wellington.

This battle was part of the Gallipoli campaign by the allied powers during WWI, which proved ultimately unsuccessful.

Tragically it led to many Aussie and Kiwi causalities as they were major contributors to the attack.  Ultimately Winston Churchill was sacked over the whole thing, but as history would tell us later, there were many players from WWI who returned to the world stage just 20 years later for WWII.
