Chaplain 3D print model from the renowned wargame descended from the battlefield right on our 3D marketplace to the joy of the gamers. This war leader fights alongside his fellow brethren, alleviating fear and installing faith in them. His appearance is terrifying to his enemies.

He wears dark armor suits and skull helmets. His armor suit is adorned with symbols that identify with his ancient history. Known to lead from the front, the Chaplain is feared for his destructive power of the enemy, instigating his fellow brothers through action and words.

The assembled Chaplain 3D model is 172.2mm wide, 172.2mm deep and 318.6mm tall and it consists of 6 regular HD parts.
Due to high detail fidelity of this model, we recommend using HD printers (SLS/SLA) to get the best results. Files have been tested and are error-free so you can enjoy smooth printing and outstanding result.

So it seems like you need a Stereo Lithography Printer to make this work, which may be a little out of the hands of most folks.

According to Google, Stereo Lithography is a method of creating 3D objects by successively “printing” thin layers of an object using a medium curable by ultraviolet light, starting from the bottom layer to the top layer.

A search for these types of printers seems to indicate that they are still a little too pricey for “at home use”, however as we all know technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate, and it may not be long before we start seeing price drop for these types of printers.

It seems like these days the table top miniatures industry is like the wild wild west between recasts, and now the 3d printing dilemma.

Remember when the NY Times went online all those years ago and they were called out for it – well guess who’s laughing now for planning ahead?

So one has to wonder, how and when should Games Workshop respond to what may be the million dollar 3D printing question?

Should Games Workshop start to develop digital miniature offerings just to get their feet wet?

Where do YOU think the hobby will go from here?
